Real-time editing for Adobe’s professional video production is recognized worldwide for its incredible software tools, many of which have become true industry standards in many fields and Adobe Premiere Pro is one of its leading products. Along with Final Cut Pro, Premiere is one of the best video editing packages on the market. Note that Adobe Premiere is now part of Creative Cloud (CC), which means it is only available on a monthly subscription rather than a one-time license.
Very professional video series
Adobe Premiere provides all the video equipment and professional film makers with the tools they need for their day-to-day work. The new version maintains the same interface structure as before, maintaining a minimal learning curve while offering new timelines, improved media management, multiple search options, multi-project workflows, and streamlined colors ({desktop -page ‘);});
A major change is the integration of Creative Cloud. As well as making sure you get the new features as soon as they become available, they also offer other benefits, such as access to Adobe Stock Service, a royalty-free asset gallery.
Sync projects on any computer
Collaboration on projects is now making it easier thanks to syncing installations that save settings, workspaces (which can now be customized for specific tasks) and even shortcuts built into several computers. Creative Cloud is also integrated with Behance so you can share your projects and get instant feedback from other designers and editors around the world.
Creative Cloud not only allows you to sync between computers, as it is now possible to use other devices with the Premiere Clip mobile application as well. With this, you can create a recording on your phone or tablet and immediately sync it to your project timeline.
Flexible formats, Blu-Ray support, Final Cut and more
Adobe Premiere Pro is now fully compatible with other Adobe tools including SWF formats and even Final Cut Pro files. This is thanks to the Adobe Mercury Play Engine, which means you can work with an increasing number of video formats compared to most video editors. Among the many powerful features of Adobe Premiere is the ability to export to Blu-Ray formats and even tapeless camcorders. Adobe has recently added Live Text Templates, Hidden and Tracking templates, Master Clip effects and faster editing workflows.
Complex for beginners but very useful
Design professionals who are familiar with other Adobe products will find Adobe Premiere Pro intuitive and easy to use. However, beginners can feel overwhelmed by the complexity of the program, although Adobe offers very detailed documentation and many tutorial videos on how to get the basics.
The continuous improvement since its launch has seen the ease of use of Adobe Premiere Pro. These include Morph Cut, which uses face recognition technology to seamlessly integrate chat headsets, and enhanced audio workflows to make voice creation and addition easier.
Some users will not appreciate the transition to Creative Cloud and subscription models to its content and Adobe will undoubtedly lose some users to Apple’s Final Cut Pro. But it makes it easier to collaborate on projects, live updatesand integration with other Adobe products.
